Founder Onboarding

Your step by step path into MoonshotNX

Welcome to MoonshotNX. This onboarding journey takes you from first registration through to institutional report production, investment rating, Investor Room application, and live investor execution. Each step builds on the last. By the time you apply to the Investor Room, your company is structured, reviewed, and prepared for real investor scrutiny. If you experience any issue at any point, including missing emails, access problems, booking difficulties, or submission errors, contact onboarding@moonshotnx.com and the team will assist you.

The valuation engine does not rely solely on uploaded pitch decks or financial models. All structured forms must be completed in sequence for the institutional valuation engine to map qualitative, operational, market, governance and capital structure variables correctly.

How onboarding works

MoonshotNX follows a structured progression from initial submission through to investor execution. You move step by step through presentation, reporting, refinement, and finally into the live deal environment.

Step 1. Complete your company registration and receive your Company ID to access the founders dashboard.

Start by completing your company registration form.Once submitted, you will receive an automatic email with your Company ID. This ID links your company to the entire MoonshotNX system and is required for all submissions. If you do not receive your Company ID, contact onboarding@moonshotnx.com and we will resolve it for you.

Step 2. Book your Lions Den presentation

Once you have your Company ID, book your Lions Den session.

Lions Den is a formal presentation to a rotating panel of advisors, investors, and senior IR leaders. This is your first live interaction and is treated as a real pitch environment.

Each session is 15 minutes:

  • approximately 8 minutes to present

  • approximately 7 minutes for Q&A

If your timezone does not align with available slots, email onboarding@moonshotnx.com for assistance.

Step 3. Prepare for your Lions Den pitch

You are expected to present clearly, confidently, and within time.

You must be ready to share your screen and present your pitch deck live. If you are unable to present your deck, you may be disqualified from the session.

Your presentation should cover:

  • what your company does

  • the problem and why it matters

  • your solution

  • your market and business model

  • traction and progress

  • your team and positioning

  • your growth plan

  • your funding ask

This is a live evaluation. The panel will ask direct questions based on your presentation.

Step 4. Receive your Lions Den outcome

After your presentation, your outcome is reviewed. You will receive your outcome report within 72 hours.Following this, your submission links are activated. These links guide you into the next stages of reporting and are required to continue through the process. If you do not receive your outcome or access links, contact onboarding@moonshotnx.com.

Step 5. Book your advisory review call

After your Lions Den outcome and once your reporting links are active, you may book an advisory call.

This session is used to:

  • review your pitch and positioning

  • understand what needs to change

  • prepare your materials for submission

  • get clear direction before entering the reporting process

If you need additional support at any stage, you can book further advisory calls. A specialist will be assigned where needed, or you may continue with the same advisor.

Step 6. Submit and refine your pitch deck

You will submit your pitch deck through the report form provided in your activated links.

Once reviewed, you will receive a structured pitch deck report within 72 hours.

After receiving feedback, you may update and resubmit your pitch deck for review as many times as you like. This stage is designed to help you refine your narrative until it meets the required standard.

Step 7. Prepare and complete your core submissions

At this stage, you will move through the core MoonshotNX submission process.

Each submission collects structured data about your business. These inputs are then used to generate your institutional reports, valuation outputs, and overall investment rating.

You should not rush this stage. The quality and accuracy of your submissions directly determine the quality of your outputs.

Before completing each submission, review what is required and prepare your materials properly by clicking the buttons below for better understanding of what will be required.

The valuation engine does not rely solely on uploaded pitch decks or financial models. All structured forms must be completed in sequence for the institutional valuation engine to map qualitative, operational, market, governance and capital structure variables correctly.

Understanding the MoonshotNX Venture Assessment Process

The MoonshotNX assessment system is designed to simulate how institutional investors evaluate venture-backed companies during fundraising, underwriting and investment review processes.

The forms within this platform collect information across:

• market opportunity

• business model structure

• revenue quality

• capital structure

• operational maturity

• investor readiness

• scalability

• governance

• valuation positioning

These are the same categories professional investors typically analyse before progressing a company into formal diligence or investment committee review.

Important for founders to understand:

Early-stage and pre-revenue startups are not expected to have perfect metrics, mature systems or institutional reporting infrastructure already in place.

Most venture-backed startups at Pre-Seed and Seed stage are still:

• validating product-market fit

• refining pricing

• building customer traction

• improving operational systems

• developing reporting maturity

• evolving go-to-market strategy

As a result:

• estimated future assumptions are acceptable where historical data does not yet exist

• realistic projections are preferable to overly optimistic projections

• uncertainty is normal in venture investing

• many institutional metrics become more measurable over time as companies mature

The purpose of the MoonshotNX system is not to judge founders personally or predict guaranteed outcomes.

The purpose is to help founders:

• understand how investors may currently interpret the business

• identify operational or fundraising gaps

• improve investor readiness

• strengthen institutional positioning

• better understand venture financing dynamics

The resulting reports, scores and ratings should therefore be interpreted as analytical benchmarks rather than personal judgements or guarantees of success or failure.

Professional investors understand that startup building is inherently probabilistic, and that most early-stage companies evolve materially over time.

Each of these submissions is completed through your activated links.

Once submitted, your inputs are reviewed and converted into structured reports, typically delivered within 72 hours.

At any point during this process, if you are unsure how to complete a section or need help preparing your materials, you should book an advisory call.

Step 8. Receive your investment rating score

Once all required reports are completed, you will receive your investment rating score.

At this stage, your company has been fully structured into an institutional-grade investment file.

Step 9. Apply to the Investor Room

After all reports are submitted, you will be sent a link to apply to the Investor Room.

This is a formal application process. Your full file and reports are reviewed by the Investment Committee.

Admission is based on readiness, structure, and overall investment positioning.

Step 10. Enter the Investor Room and begin investor execution

If admitted, you enter the Investor Room.

This is where your fundraising process becomes active and is managed alongside the IR team.

Inside the Investor Room:

  • your company is positioned for investor engagement

  • matched investor introductions are made

  • meetings are coordinated and managed

  • investor conversations are tracked and progressed

  • diligence processes are supported

  • deal execution is guided through to completion

The CRO and full IR team support you throughout this stage.
