Lions Den: Your 15–20 Minute Founder Session
Lions Den is your opportunity to present your company directly to a panel of internal and external judges, receive focused feedback, and answer questions about your business, market, traction and investment readiness.
Your session is structured to give you enough time to make your case while allowing the judges to engage directly with you.
Your Pitch
You will have 8–10 minutes maximum to deliver your pitch. Please have your pitch ready to screenshare for the judges to view your slides.
Please use this time carefully. Focus on the most important information the judges need to understand your company, including the problem, solution, market opportunity, business model, traction, competitive position, team and your funding or growth objectives.
Do not exceed 10 minutes. The remaining time is reserved for questions and discussion.
Questions & Discussion
Following your presentation, the internal and external judges will use approximately 5–10 minutes to ask questions and explore your business in greater depth.
This is an important part of Lions Den. The judges are not simply assessing your presentation. They want to understand how well you know your business, how you think, where the opportunities and risks lie, and how prepared you are for the next stage of growth.
Think of Lions Den as a conversation, not simply a pitch.
Come prepared to answer questions clearly and directly. You should know your numbers, understand your market and competitors, and be ready to explain your strategy and objectives with confidence.
